The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a general score of 60.4, which is a bit better than the Alcatel A30 Tablet's 57 overall score. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has the previous 5.1 Lollipop version while Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) is an older portable tablet than the Alcatel A30 Tablet, but Samsung was able to build it a bit thinner and noticeably lighter.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a little faster processing unit than Alcatel A30 Tablet, although it has 512 MB less RAM memory, they both have 4 processing cores.
