Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, getting a 67.9 score against 62.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has older 4.4 version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is somewhat thinner than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but it is somewhat heavier and was released 6 years before.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit faster processing unit than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has less RAM, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a little bit bigger screen and a way greater amount of pixels per display inch.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 takes slightly better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a much less megapixels back facing camera and a lower (Full HD) video quality. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a bigger storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
