Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a score of 62.5, which is just a bit better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2's overall score of 62.5. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has older 3.1 version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a notably heavier portable tablet than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but both of them are equally thin.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a larger amount of RAM and more processing cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a bit more vivid display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a bit worse screen pixel density, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also counts with a bigger display.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a lot better resolution camera.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a much longer battery duration than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 67% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, else you can save some money and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, resigning some specifications.
