Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is slightly better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, having a overall score of 65 against 62.5. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the previous 4.1 version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) design is extremely older, noticeably heavier and thicker than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a little sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a bit inferior number of pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a larger display.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB and more internal memory. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a lot more MP camera in the back. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a way better battery duration than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
