Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a global score of 66.5, which is a little bit better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2's global score of 62.5. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, so it provides the user some additional features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a incredibly older and somewhat thicker tablet than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but Samsung managed to build it just a bit lighter anyway.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit better display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a little bit lower pixel density, a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a little bit smaller display. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a much higher 5 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, resigning some features and specifications.
