Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a bit better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, having a global score of 67.8 against 62.5. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's design is just a little bit thinner than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but it is way heavier and was released 7 years before. These devices work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, so it provides some nice extra features and enhanced performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a little more vivid display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also counts with a larger screen. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have 4 cores, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also counts with 1,5 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much better battery lifetime than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a lot better (Full HD) video definition.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 costs a bit more money than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
