Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is slightly better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, having a general score of 65.6 against 62.5. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's body is somewhat lighter than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it is just a little thicker and was released many years before. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, so it offers a couple nice extra features and optimized performance.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better looking display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a bit better count of pixels in each display inch.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 4080mAh battery size.
Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a way worse 1280x720 video quality and a way worse 3 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, giving up some features and specifications.
