Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a score of 62.8, which is slightly better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2's overall score of 62.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version, so it provides you some extra features and increased performance. Although the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is noticeably older and just a bit heavier than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, it's construction is still somewhat thinner.

Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a little bit greater pixels density and a quite better resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has 1,5 GB more RAM.

Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a much better storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 32 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has just a bit better battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 4080mAh.

Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a way higher video definition.

Although Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a better device, it is more expensive than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 8.0, else you can save some money and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, resigning a couple specifications.
