Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is slightly better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2's general score of 62.5. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, so it counts with a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Even being the best portable tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a much older, a bit thicker and somewhat heavier portable tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB 2.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has more RAM memory.
