The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, having a general score of 74.5 against 62.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's construction is a little bit lighter and noticeably thinner than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it was released 7 years before. These devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, giving you a couple nice extra features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with superior battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 4900mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit better camera than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a back camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is more expensive than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
