Comparison review
Xiaomi MiPad is slightly better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, getting a global score of 64.4 against 62.5. Although Xiaomi MiPad is a lot older and somewhat heavier than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, it's construction is still a bit thinner. Xiaomi MiPad counts with a much sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better display pixels density and a lot better 2048 x 1536px resolution.
Xiaomi MiPad features a bit better processing unit than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. The Xiaomi MiPad counts with a slightly better camera than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi MiPad, because it has 16 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi MiPad counts with a way better battery life than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 64% bigger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xiaomi MiPad, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, letting go a couple specifications.
