The Alcatel JOY TAB is slightly better than the Alcatel 3T 8, getting a global score of 59.4 against 58.6. The Alcatel JOY TAB design has the same weight than Alcatel 3T 8, but it's a bit thicker. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but Alcatel JOY TAB has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Alcatel 3T 8 has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Alcatel 3T 8 has a processor that is just as good as Alcatel JOY TAB's CPU, they have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Alcatel 3T 8 features a screen that is just as good as the display in Alcatel JOY TAB, they have a higher pixels count in each screen inch, a screen with the same size and the same 800 x 1280 resolution.
The Alcatel 3T 8 counts with a camera that's just as good as the camera in Alcatel JOY TAB, both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same (HD) video definition and a 5 mega pixels back facing camera. Alcatel JOY TAB features a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Alcatel 3T 8, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has 16 GB more internal storage.
The Alcatel 3T 8's battery life is very similar to Alcatel JOY TAB's battery life.
