Alcatel JOY TAB has a global score of 59.4, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s score of 58.6. Even when Alcatel JOY TAB and the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) were only released 7 months apart, Alcatel JOY TAB is thinner and lighter. These tablets work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System).
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a little more vivid screen than Alcatel JOY TAB. Both of them have the same screen pixels density, exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution and a display with the same size. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a very superior storage for games and applications than Alcatel JOY TAB, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
