Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a general score of 59.7, which is just a bit better than the Alcatel JOY TAB's 59.4 global score. These tablets come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect. Despite being the best tablet in our current comparison, we must note that it is also somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a bit better looking screen than Alcatel JOY TAB. Both of them have a better pixels count per inch in the display, exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 and a screen with the same size. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a bit faster processing unit than Alcatel JOY TAB, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Alcatel JOY TAB, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Alcatel JOY TAB takes way better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
Alcatel JOY TAB has a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
