Comparison review
The Alcatel JOY TAB is a bit better than Microsoft Surface RT, getting a global score of 59.4 against 58.4. The Alcatel JOY TAB is a much newer tablet, and it's also way lighter and just a little thinner than Microsoft Surface RT. The Alcatel JOY TAB counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT operating system.
Microsoft Surface RT has a little sharper screen than Alcatel JOY TAB, because although it has a little inferior pixels amount in each inch in the display, it also counts with a way bigger screen and a quite better 768 x 1366 pixels resolution. The Alcatel JOY TAB features a bit more memory for applications and games than Microsoft Surface RT, although it has only 32 GB internal storage.
The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a little faster CPU than Alcatel JOY TAB, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and 4 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has an additional graphics co-processor. Alcatel JOY TAB has a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.
The Alcatel JOY TAB captures much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a camera in the back with much more MP.
