The Alcatel JOY TAB has a general score of 59.4, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 overall score. Alcatel JOY TAB is a noticeably lighter tablet device than Galaxy Tab 10.1, but they are 0.34inches thick. These tablets use Android OS, but Alcatel JOY TAB has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4.

The Alcatel JOY TAB features a better processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a larger number of cores (and they are faster). The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a slightly better looking display than Alcatel JOY TAB, because although it has a just a little lower pixel quantity per inch of display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a bigger display.

The Alcatel JOY TAB has a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a way better battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.

The Alcatel JOY TAB takes a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has better 30 frames per second video frame rates and a back camera with way more mega-pixels.
