Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a global score of 60.7, which is a little bit better than the Alcatel JOY TAB's 59.4 general score. Both tablets we compare here have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has 4.1 version while Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even being the best in this comparison, we must highlight that it is also much older, somewhat heavier and thicker.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bit sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB, although it has a little smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a bit lower pixels density. Alcatel JOY TAB features a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

Alcatel JOY TAB has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Alcatel JOY TAB has just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 4080mAh battery capacity. The Alcatel JOY TAB shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera.
