Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is slightly better than the Alcatel JOY TAB, having a 62.8 score against 59.4. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is an a lot older and a little heavier tablet than the Alcatel JOY TAB, but Samsung could make it thinner anyway. Both devices we are comparing include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the previous 7.1 Nougat version and Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Alcatel JOY TAB features just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a same size screen, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a little higher resolution of 800 x 1280. Alcatel JOY TAB has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Alcatel JOY TAB has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has 32 GB internal storage. Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rates.
