Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a little bit better than Alcatel JOY TAB, having a overall score of 60.5 against 59.4. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has older 7.1 Nougat version while Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie version. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a way older and way heavier tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB, but Samsung made it thinner anyway.
Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Alcatel JOY TAB has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 800 x 1280px and a greater amount of pixels per display inch.
Alcatel JOY TAB has a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has 16 GB more internal memory capacity. The Alcatel JOY TAB captures better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7. They have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera in the back and the same 1280x720 video quality.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a much longer battery life than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
