Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a lot better than Alcatel JOY TAB, getting a global score of 74.5 against 59.4. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an extremely older and just a bit heavier tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB, but Samsung was able to make it way thinner anyway.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a lot greater screen pixel density, a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a quite bigger screen. Alcatel JOY TAB and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 feature similar memory to store more apps and games, they have the same internal memory and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has just a little better performance than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has 4 more processing cores and 1 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has longer battery life than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a 4900mAh battery size against 4080mAh. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a much more mega pixels back-facing camera and a lot better 1920x1080 video definition.
