Xperia Tablet Z has a score of 68.5, which is much better than Alcatel JOY TAB's 59.4 score. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Xperia Tablet Z has the previous 4.4.4 version while Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie. The Xperia Tablet Z design is incredibly thinner than Alcatel JOY TAB, but it is incredibly heavier and was released many years before.
The Xperia Tablet Z counts with just a little better performance than Alcatel JOY TAB, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Tablet Z also has an additional graphics co-processor. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a way better screen than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a just a little better pixel density and a bigger display.
The Alcatel JOY TAB has a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 128 GB. Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lot worse (HD) video definition.
Xperia Tablet Z features a much better battery lifetime than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
