Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is just a bit better than the Alcatel PLUS 10, having a global score of 63.4 against 59. The Microsoft Surface 2 is a noticeably older and a little bit thicker tablet than Alcatel PLUS 10, but Microsoft was able to build it a lot lighter anyway. These tablets include Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface 2 has a more recent RT 8.1 version and Alcatel PLUS 10 has Windows 10, so it gives a couple additional features.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a sharper screen than Alcatel PLUS 10, because it has more pixels per inch of display, a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a little bit larger display. Microsoft Surface 2 features a little bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Alcatel PLUS 10, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Alcatel PLUS 10 counts with a bit better CPU than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of them have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Alcatel PLUS 10 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2. The Alcatel PLUS 10 and the Microsoft Surface 2 feature very similar cameras, both of them have the same resolution back facing camera.
