Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 has a score of 63.4, which is a bit better than Alcatel PLUS 12's general score of 58.9. These tablets work with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface 2 has RT 8.1 version while Alcatel PLUS 12 has Windows 10 version, so it offers a couple additional features and better performance. Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, Microsoft Surface 2's construction is a lot older, heavier and somewhat thicker than Alcatel PLUS 12.
Alcatel PLUS 12 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface 2 features just a bit better screen than Alcatel PLUS 12, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Microsoft Surface 2 also counts with a bit better display pixels density.
Alcatel PLUS 12 has a much greater memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of them have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Microsoft Surface 2 takes greater photographs and videos than Alcatel PLUS 12. The Alcatel PLUS 12 features a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
