Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 68.5, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 10's global score of 54.8. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a noticeably older and just a little bit thicker tablet than Amazon Fire HD 10, but Amazon made it somewhat lighter anyway.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has a graphics co-processor and more RAM memory.
