The Microsoft Surface Pro is a noticeably older, noticeably heavier and thicker tablet than Amazon Fire HD 10. Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro OS, while Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features a brighter screen than Amazon Fire HD 10, because it has a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen and a bit bigger display.
