The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 10, with a general score of 69.2 against 54.8. Despite being the best in our current comparison, Samsung ATIV Tab 5's construction is much older, way heavier and thicker than Amazon Fire HD 10. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with Windows 8 OS, while Amazon Fire HD 10 works with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Amazon Fire HD 10, because although the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with 1 GB more RAM. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a quite larger display and a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1366.
