Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a score of 63, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 10's global score of 54.8. Despite being the best tablet we compare here, it must be noted that it is also extremely older, somewhat thicker and a lot heavier. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has the older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a bit more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 10. Both of them have a better quantity of pixels per screen inch, a screen of the same size and exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 10 has a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory.

Amazon Fire HD 10 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10. They have the same (HD) video resolution, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and the same video frame rate.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a battery performance that's very similar to the battery performance in Amazon Fire HD 10.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 10. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 10, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
