Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a little bit better than Amazon Fire HD 10, having a 58.1 score against 54.8. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 construction is much older, noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker than the Amazon Fire HD 10. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the previous 4.0.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 features a faster processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a brighter screen than Amazon Fire HD 10. Both have a better quantity of pixels per inch of display, the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a display of the same size.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a better camera than Amazon Fire HD 10, although it has a back-facing camera with much less MP and a worse (Full HD) video resolution. Amazon Fire HD 10 has a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 10 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a really longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 10.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 10. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 10, letting go a couple specs and features.
