Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 10, getting a global score of 70.2 against 54.8. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s construction is heavier and a bit thicker than the Amazon Fire HD 10. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a much better screen than Amazon Fire HD 10, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a way greater number of pixels per screen inch. Amazon Fire HD 10 has a greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
