Galaxy Tab A 10.5's design is extremely newer than the Amazon Fire HD 10's, although it's a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop, giving some nice extra features and performance improvements.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 10, because it has 4 more cpu cores and more RAM memory.
