Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 10, with a 60.1 score against 54.8. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a just a little bit thinner and extremely lighter tablet than Amazon Fire HD 10, even though both of them were released only a couple months apart. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an older 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a better screen than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a really smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1024 x 768px, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen. Amazon Fire HD 10 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Amazon Fire HD 10 also has more internal memory capacity.

Amazon Fire HD 10 has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and they are faster). The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 10. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 captures much better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10. They have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels.

Even being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also a lot cheaper.
