Both tablets we are comparing here include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active has the older 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a much more vibrant display than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also counts with a higher screen pixels density. Amazon Fire HD 10 counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB.

Amazon Fire HD 10 and Galaxy Tab Active both count with quite similar processors, and although the Galaxy Tab Active has a larger amount of RAM memory and an extra GPU, they both have 4 cpu cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 10. Galaxy Tab Active takes much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 10, although it has a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a way worse 3.1 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.

Galaxy Tab Active costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 10, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
