Comparison review
The Sony Tablet S is a little bit better than Amazon Fire HD 10, having a 57.5 score against 54.8. Despite being the best tablet device in this comparison, Sony Tablet S's body is notably older, notably heavier and way thicker than Amazon Fire HD 10. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Sony Tablet S has 4.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
Sony Tablet S counts with a slightly better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Sony Tablet S also counts with a just a little higher pixels density. The Amazon Fire HD 10 counts with a better memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Amazon Fire HD 10 also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 has just a bit better processing power than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Amazon Fire HD 10 also has 2 more processing cores. Sony Tablet S counts with a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 10. Sony Tablet S features a way better camera than Amazon Fire HD 10. They have a 5 MP camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality.
Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 10. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Tablet S, otherwise you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 10, giving up a couple features and specifications.
