Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 10's 54.8 global score. Although the Sony Xperia Tablet Z is notably older and heavier than Amazon Fire HD 10, it's body is still a little bit thinner. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the older 4.4.4 version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features just a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 10, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has more RAM memory and a GPU. Xperia Tablet Z has an incredibly better display than Amazon Fire HD 10, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a way greater screen density.
Amazon Fire HD 10 features slightly more storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 10 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB. Xperia Tablet Z features a greater camera than Amazon Fire HD 10, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.
Xperia Tablet Z has a superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 10.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 10, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
