Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 has an overall score of 63.4, which is a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019)'s general score of 62.4. Although Microsoft Surface 2 is incredibly older and noticeably heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), it's body is still somewhat thinner. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) counts with Android, Amazon Fire UI operating system.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) has a little bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) also has a greater number of cores (and also faster). Microsoft Surface 2 features just a bit better screen than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), because although it has a little bit less pixels per screen inch and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a quite bigger screen.
Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has less internal storage capacity. The Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) features a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2. Microsoft Surface 2 has a superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), because it has a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a way better 5 MP resolution camera.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 2, else you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), giving up some specs and features.
