Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021)'s general score of 62.8. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Despite of the fact that Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is older than the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), it's construction is lighter and somewhat thinner.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a much higher amount of pixels per inch of display. The Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
