Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), getting a overall score of 74.3 against 62.8. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is noticeably older and a little bit heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), it's design is still notably thinner. These tablets have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have 8 cores, the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) also has a larger amount of RAM.
