The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is a noticeably newer and somewhat lighter tablet than Amazon Fire HD 10, although it is also a lot thicker. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 version, providing you some extra features and performance improvements.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a better performance than Amazon Fire HD 10, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a bit sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also counts with a greater pixels density.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 takes clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot higher video quality and a way better resolution back facing camera.
