The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.7, which is way better than Amazon Fire HD 10's 54 general score. These devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the older 4.2.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a lot older than the Amazon Fire HD 10, it's construction is much lighter and just a bit thinner.
