Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HD 6 is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia One 8, getting a overall score of 55 against 53.7. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HD 6 has an older 4.4 version and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Despite of the fact Amazon Fire HD 6 is older and just a little bit thicker than the Acer Iconia One 8, it's construction is still somewhat lighter.
The Amazon Fire HD 6 features a little bit better performance than Acer Iconia One 8. Both of them have a 1 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Amazon Fire HD 6 features a way better display than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a better number of pixels per screen inch.
Acer Iconia One 8 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Acer Iconia One 8 also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB. Acer Iconia One 8 features a superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Acer Iconia One 8 counts with a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Amazon Fire HD 6 is also cheap compared to the other tablet.
