Comparison review
The Acer Predator 8 has a general score of 57.7, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's 55 global score. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Acer Predator 8 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4, offering a couple additional features. Although Acer Predator 8 is heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 6, it's somewhat thinner and newer.
Amazon Fire HD 6 features a bit more vivid display than Acer Predator 8, although it has a bit lower pixels density, a much smaller screen and a way lower 1280 x 800px resolution. The Acer Predator 8 has a bit superior processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have 4 cores, the Acer Predator 8 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Acer Predator 8 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Acer Predator 8 has a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 6. Acer Predator 8 has a better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a lot more MP back camera.
Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 6. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Acer Predator 8, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 6, letting go a couple specifications.
