Comparison review
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has an overall score of 64.2, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's global score of 55. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with Windows 8.1 OS, while Amazon Fire HD 6 comes with Android 4.4 OS. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 construction is thinner but notably heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 6.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. Amazon Fire HD 6 has a little more vivid screen than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, although it has a really smaller screen, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800px and a just a little lower screen pixel density.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a very superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also has a way higher resolution back facing camera. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Amazon Fire HD 6 and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 feature quite similar battery performance.
Although Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 6. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Amazon Fire HD 6, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
