Comparison review

LG G Pad II 8.0 is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, with a general score of 58.3 against 55. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad II 8.0 has the newer 5.0 Lollipop version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4, so it offers a couple additional features and performance tweaks. LG G Pad II 8.0's design is newer and somewhat thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Amazon Fire HD 6.

Amazon Fire HD 6 has a much better looking screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen. LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 32 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 128 GB.

Amazon Fire HD 6 features a little better hardware performance than LG G Pad II 8.0, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with a superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 6. The LG G Pad II 8.0 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a back camera with lot more megapixels.
