The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a score of 72.2, which is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's overall score of 55. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 design is thinner but extremely heavier than Amazon Fire HD 6, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit better CPU than Amazon Fire HD 6, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with more RAM. Amazon Fire HD 6 features a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lot smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen pixels density.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Amazon Fire HD 6 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 both feature really similar batteries performance. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a lot better resolution back camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 6. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 6, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
