Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is much better than Amazon Fire HD 6, having a 63 score against 55. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is an older and way heavier portable tablet than Amazon Fire HD 6, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.

Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a lot higher screen density. The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 4 processing cores.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a much better resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's battery life is very similar to Amazon Fire HD 6's battery lifetime.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 6. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Amazon Fire HD 6, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
