Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 6, with a global score of 58.1 against 55. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 construction is somewhat thinner than Amazon Fire HD 6, but it is incredibly heavier and was released many years before. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the older 4.0.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version.

Amazon Fire HD 6 has a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more cores. The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a way higher count of pixels per screen inch.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 shoots way better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a back camera with a lot better 3 mega-pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a much longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 6.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 6. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 6, letting go a couple features and specs.
