Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, getting a general score of 65 against 55. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the older 4.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a older and noticeably heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 6, but Samsung was able to make it a little bit thinner anyway.

The Amazon Fire HD 6 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) both have really similar CPUs, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has less 1.5 GHz CPU cores, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor. The Amazon Fire HD 6 has a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a way higher pixel quantity per screen inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has a SD card slot that supports up to 32 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a lot more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 6, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
