Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has the older 4.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a incredibly older, a little thicker and somewhat heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 6.
