The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, getting a overall score of 68.7 against 55. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has older 4.2.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is an older and a little heavier tablet device than Amazon Fire HD 6, but Samsung was able to make it way thinner anyway.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a little faster CPU than Amazon Fire HD 6, because although it has an inferior number of cores, it also counts with more RAM memory and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB and more internal memory.
