Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 6, having a general score of 67.8 against 55. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 construction is heavier but noticeably thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 6, and both of them were released with only 6 months difference. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Amazon Fire HD 6 have really similar processors, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a GPU and 512 MB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a better screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a way greater amount of pixels per inch of display.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a very superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a lot better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 costs more money than the Amazon Fire HD 6, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
